Comments: “If it doesn't work out, you can always rout two strips in it and use it for an ashtray.” I'll bet every Shops teacher said that at one time, but there weren't many Shops teachers like Mr. Jarmuske, who also coached sports at PEHS throughout the 70's till the end in 1987.
Visit Teacher Feature in the Gallery and tell us what you remember about Mr. Jarmuske here in the Guestbook.

Comments: Just stumbled on this site today and I was totally blown away!! My Father is Capt. Fred Allen and he was the Manager of the Shilo Goldeyes. He is 92 years of age and still going strong!! He lives in the Veteran's Wing of Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto and he will be so happy when I show him this site.
Does anybody know how to get in touch with LYNN DAVIS, who contributed the photos for the Goldeye section of the site?? If there is a way to arrange a phone call between her and my Father, he would be absolutely thrilled by it.
Thank you SO much for this exceptional site. I found pictures of myself and my older brother BRIAN. He was one of the imitation "Beatles" at the base Talent Show!! I laughed my * * * off when I saw that pic!!
Congratulations again on this wonderful tribute!!

Comments: In the 60's, before Mr. Cooper, Science, aka Physics and Chemistry, were very serious subjects. Mr. Neumann made sure of that, but you could also join the Science Club to see the fun side of it.
What do you remember about Mr. Neumann, and are you still trying to finish his homework.
Visit today's Teacher Feature in the Gallery for a glimpse of the 60's mad scientist Mr Neumann.

Comments: Our Sunday Teacher Feature stays with the 'Principal' theme with Mr. Birch, and showcases this unique photo of the group of male teachers in 1960, from Harvey McGhie's archives donated to ShiloBrats. Several have already been featured, four became Principals, Mr. Baltesson's wife was also a popular teacher in Shilo, Mr. Balitsky, who was probably everyone's teacher at one time, stayed to the end in 1987, and will be featured later, and a very rare photo of Mr. Hilton, who was unique and rare himself as a person, a teacher and inspiration to everyone around him. What are your memories of this great group of teachers.

Comments: Grade 9, the gateway to high school, and the toughest teacher trio you were ever going to go through, Mr. Wolfe, Mr. Bohonos and Mr. Crandle (already featured). You heard about them before you got there. Today's Teacher Feature, Mr. Wolfe and Mr. Bohonos established their grade 9 reputations at Greenwood before it was moved to PEHS in the early 60's. There was a fun side to them, but you didn't get away with anything, as they prepared you for your high school journey. What do you remember about running the gauntlet in grade 9. Visit the Gallery for today's Teacher Feature, then tell us in the Guestbook what you remember about Mr. Wolfe and Mr. Bohonos.
