Hi there;
We didn't live in Shilo for long...January 1970 to August 1970...but met some wonderful people.
We lived at 53 Alfreston Crescent. The McAuleys live in the other half of the duplex.
Some of the names I remember are Audie and April Jones, Cheryl and Cindy Blair. Gordie Horne (his father was a minister) Dana Jones, Corrine Kelly, Karen Hall, Kim Sutton...Rick Jacklyn, Kevin Boutlier and David Johnston...Just to name a few.
My parents were good friends with the Suttons and Stew and Ella West. Ella West and my mom worked together in Borden before we moved to Shilo. If anyone knows the whereabouts of the Wests, my mom would really like to get in touch with Ella. My mom and dad are living in London, Ontario...
Great site. Now that I've found it, I will definately keep returning.

I'm visiting my mum and dad this week in Ancaster Ontario, so that's where I dug up the photos--the folks hadn't seen most of them for decades...there are lots more, but mostly just personal ones without much general interest. Maybe I'll post a few from our first posting, too, with such names as I can come up with. There are also a few from Korea that I might put up if I get time.

Anyone know anything about David Broome? Lived near the corner of the Packway and Kingston in the early sixties...his father was a corporal, I think. He had a younger brother Robert.

I've been checking out some of the yearbooks and whatnot of the cohort that's probably about 60 years old now--saw several babysitters that I remember. Theo Youmatoff, maybe Darlene Maher (certainly a girl named Maher who lived on Sapper baby-sat me) and the very hot Shelagh Fallon. I think that was my first babysitter crush. She taught me to drink tea (with a lot of milk in it) and play what in North America we call "Clue" but their game was a British version called "Cluedo".

Great pictures Tim ... wow, what a memory!! ... (I still play with that Ford Fairlane police car )

You must have been the best dressed kid at my 8th. birthday party!!

Johnny and Dora Neilson (mentioned in your choir photo) who lived 2 doors down from us on Sapper Avenue were tremendous friends of my parents.

In fact Tim, just to connect a few dots (further to our previous e-mail exchange), I've just posted a picture from Dad's photo album with a list of some of the people he served with in Korea, and your father is on the board, along with Johnny Neilson).

Aside from my brother Chris, I recognize my old buddy Fred Baker (peaking out on the far right beside me), Don Setter (far left), Ann Cumming, Valerie and Terry Robillard, and I think, but am not sure: Richard Ripley and Jennifer Smyth ... (my apologies if I got those names wrong). As I keep digging up old pictures that I think might be of interest to fellow Brats I'll continue to post them. I hope others will do the same.

Cheers, Rob

Thank you Paige for your input, at the time you sent your photos to Otter, the site space was maxed out, and everything was on hold while the transition of ShiloBrats passed on to the new team. Otter transferred all site related files to Edie, and she is searching for them.

Our first order of business was to increase the site space, redesign the look and navigation of ShiloBrats. This is now to the stage where the priority is on content.

ShiloBrats is here to represent all eras of Shilo life including today. We want to hear from current Shilo brats (and photos) about your life in Shilo today (don’t wait 40 years like we did)
Speaking about time, the clock is still ticking for 70’s & 80’s brats to include their photos and memories on ShiloBrats for everyone. The 90’s brats already have a group on Facebook. Facebook and Classmates may represent you individually, but only ShiloBrats represent you together in the most memorable and important time in your life.

Those photos of you in Shilo, might seem insignificant to you, but will bring back a flood of memories for so many others who knew you or lived there at the time.
“On my discovery of ShiloBrats, I spent two hours laughing, crying, laughing again, crying again and reliving every moment of those wonderful years there.”

The structure is in place, the content is forthcoming…..thank you

Ken and Edie...thanks for getting a hold of me and getting that one pic I had ready.

I will definitely go through my pics again, scan them, and forward them along.

That was very kind of you.
