Just dropped in to say "hello" to everyone and see what was happening around the Shilobrats World. Still love this site and try to visit it often. I lived in Shilo at 23 Petawawa Cres between 1961-1968. My parents left there in 1972 I believe. My Dad was a 212 Workshop as a Veh Tech. He always told me the Shilo was one of his best postings and I agree with him. I enjoyed living there. Well, gott run. Everyone have a great day and enjoy this beautiful fall weather. :!cool:

Regarding the xmas pic 1969 Alf the girl bottom front row is none other than debbie jenkins but you are right about that being Bob Dane.There is top left to right Jim Robertson Gary Debolt,Don Gaudet,Bob Dane, Lori Dane.Bottom left to right Willie,Brian Macdonald,Linda Washington??,Kathy Turner,and Debbie Jenkins the beatiful person in the middle is yours truly Danny Turner nice hair eh.

Obit for Patricia MacDonald , was in the Brandon Sun this past week , Pat was the only child of Beryl and Don MacDonald .. she was raised in Shilo/Sprucewoods and went to PHEP .. her service was yesterday at Chapel Lawn in Wpg , I was unable to attend , Pat was a very kind soul that dedicated her life to helping the deaf and hard at hearing . R.I.P. Pat you are reunited with your parents

Regarding Danny Turners 1969 xmas picture. I don't a Facebook account so am entering comments here. In the top row at far right I believe the person beside Lori Dane is her brother Bob Dane, not Tom Hart. Bottom left is Willie Searle, Brian Macdonald and far right is, again I believe, Jane Francis.

Hi all;

One thing I forgot to mention about our recent Mini-Reunion in Ottawa was this:

OUR GREAT HOSTS FAYE AND DOUG LINSMEN, WHO HAD US OVER TO THEIR PLACE FOR A MEET AND GREAT BEFORE DINNER. THEY PUT OUT DRINKS AND SNACKS AND DOUG WAS AN EXCELLENT BAR TENDER.
