Comments: Halifax mini-meeting June 10, 3pm - 9pm Airport Holiday Inn Express
My brother and I will be winding up our Nova Scotia "return to roots" trip in Halifax at the Airport Holiday Inn Express on Sunday, June 10.
We will arrange for a section in the restaurant/lounge area from 3pm to 9pm for a flexible time period for any Shilobrats to come by, say hello, and touch base with everyone there.
Some of the Shilobrats contacted so far are, Brian Hopkins, Danny Hannah, Alan Russell, Glen Rennie, Art Sly and Kevin Boutillier. If you know of others, please let them know.
This will be very informal, so come by, however brief, and we can add another mini-reunion to the ShiloBrats reunion list...will also have some 'little PEHS' mementos there.
Comments: Faye, hope you're enjoying all of our wonderful liquid sunshine here in Brandon.

Comments: Nice to see so many Shilo Brats on here....some I know...some I don't.
Comments: Hi guys. I'm wondering if anyone can help me in locating Dave Martin. Dave was in Shilo in the early to mid 70's. His father was the Protestant padre at Shilo, also during that time period. I worked with Dave at the Base Exchange Groceteria for a couple years. He married Marg Wooley, graduating class of 1974, sometime around 1975. Dave was in the armed forces as a military police officer. I had visited him at CFB Westwin in Winnipeg in and around 75/76 and after that lost touch with him. No doubt he is retired from the military now. I would be interested in making contact with him again. I decided to use guestbook as I feel it would get more exposure. Thanks.

Comments: Thank you for your very kind donation to the Edmonton Humane Society in memory of Otter. He was loved by many, and his legacy will live on even though he has left this earth for a better place.
Comments: A donation of $100 has been made from the Shilobrats treasury, to the Edmonton Humane Society, in memory of Otter, and an appreciation of such is being sent by them to Marge, Otter's wife.

Comments: Hello Diane. On behalf of the Shilobrats web team, I would like to let you know that Shilobrats will be donating to the Edmonton Humane Society in honour of our friend Otter/David. You can tell by the tributes here, in the Edmonton Journal Guestbook, and on the shilobrats facebook pages. (shilobrats and obits of shilobrats) that so many of us thought of David as a special man, who left an important legacy. He brought military kids together in an amazing way ten years ago, and it continues today, with hundreds and hundreds of people reliving their happy times. That's pretty spectacular, and I know you and your family, though saddened, must be so proud of your brother.
