Comments: Hi guys. I'm wondering if anyone can help me in locating Dave Martin. Dave was in Shilo in the early to mid 70's. His father was the Protestant padre at Shilo, also during that time period. I worked with Dave at the Base Exchange Groceteria for a couple years. He married Marg Wooley, graduating class of 1974, sometime around 1975. Dave was in the armed forces as a military police officer. I had visited him at CFB Westwin in Winnipeg in and around 75/76 and after that lost touch with him. No doubt he is retired from the military now. I would be interested in making contact with him again. I decided to use guestbook as I feel it would get more exposure. Thanks.

Comments: Thank you for your very kind donation to the Edmonton Humane Society in memory of Otter. He was loved by many, and his legacy will live on even though he has left this earth for a better place.
Comments: A donation of $100 has been made from the Shilobrats treasury, to the Edmonton Humane Society, in memory of Otter, and an appreciation of such is being sent by them to Marge, Otter's wife.

Comments: Hello Diane. On behalf of the Shilobrats web team, I would like to let you know that Shilobrats will be donating to the Edmonton Humane Society in honour of our friend Otter/David. You can tell by the tributes here, in the Edmonton Journal Guestbook, and on the shilobrats facebook pages. (shilobrats and obits of shilobrats) that so many of us thought of David as a special man, who left an important legacy. He brought military kids together in an amazing way ten years ago, and it continues today, with hundreds and hundreds of people reliving their happy times. That's pretty spectacular, and I know you and your family, though saddened, must be so proud of your brother.
Comments: I wanted to say how much my family and I appreciate the tribute to David you've put on your site. It is nicely done. We also appreciate all the e-mails filled with beautiful thoughts for us and nice comments about David. David was a talented man and a very special brother and son. We will miss him terribly.
