Comments: Hello Diane. On behalf of the Shilobrats web team, I would like to let you know that Shilobrats will be donating to the Edmonton Humane Society in honour of our friend Otter/David. You can tell by the tributes here, in the Edmonton Journal Guestbook, and on the shilobrats facebook pages. (shilobrats and obits of shilobrats) that so many of us thought of David as a special man, who left an important legacy. He brought military kids together in an amazing way ten years ago, and it continues today, with hundreds and hundreds of people reliving their happy times. That's pretty spectacular, and I know you and your family, though saddened, must be so proud of your brother.
Comments: I wanted to say how much my family and I appreciate the tribute to David you've put on your site. It is nicely done. We also appreciate all the e-mails filled with beautiful thoughts for us and nice comments about David. David was a talented man and a very special brother and son. We will miss him terribly.

Comments: Rest in Peace Otter. Thanks for creating Shilobrats website for us, without it, I am sure we would have no way to connect with each other. See you on the other side.

Comments: I feel bad!!! Two weeks ago, I was talking to someone who wanted to get a PEHS "mimento" (you know, the piece of the hardwood floor from the gymnasium and stage). The problem is....I can't remember who wanted it (and another for her mother). If you were the one who talked to me about it, please email me with your address and I will definitely put your memories in the mail. In exchange, you can post a picture of you in Shilo, Shilo itself, or your house in Shilo, in either our Facebook page, or right here on this website!!

Comments: I keep forgetting the main reason I am interested in this search is for who I considered my close and best friend while in Shilo. Her name is or was Betty-Ann Roach at the time. Not even sure how she spelled her name but I had one letter from her when I moved away and she then called herself Ann. Somewhere I heard that she ended up teaching in Shilo and getting Married there. Does anyone know of her and if so let her know that I am trying to get in touch. Patsy Callaghan was another close frined and I had run into her in Ottawa shortly after my father was transfered to Ottawa. Would love to get in touch with her. Well at least that is a start.
