Denise van Rooyen (Pike) has been in touch with Mr. Brown, and he will not be available to attend a mini-reunion on Oct. 22, so we will cancel it for now. I had one reply from a brat from Halifax who could not make the trip, and one promise to attend from a local man (a brat who lived in Shilo from 1959-1963 and was enthusiastic about meeting up with some old friends). But we are still open to attend a reunion at some time in the future if someone else is interested in arranging one.

Karen, if you and Denise could co-steer a shilobrats reunion for the summer of 2017, I promise to be of significant help, still having my files from the last major reunion in the summer of 2005. Important to have someone fairly local, for the bookings for the event. Bill Brown is anxiously looking for a chairperson, and Doug Jordan is willing to help out.
