Comments: Hi. Thanks to everyone for making this such a great site. I check in often just to catch up. My family, Pete and Jacquie and brothers Davy and Philip and I moved to Shilo the first time in 1958 until 1963. We lived at #10 Petawawa. I see that now that house has been moved to just outside the base. We lived beside Murray and Ilene Ingle and their kids Jimmy, Bobby and Karen. Next to them were the Billings. Across the street were the Clarks (Snuffy Clark was the swimming instructor). The Clements lived around the corner, and up the street were the Gradwells and the Bakers. We moved back to Shilo in 1969 - 1972 and lived at #1 Kingston Avenue beside the Balitskys. Mr B was my grade 10 math teacher. The Ponds and the Suttons lived just down the road. Shilo was the best place in the world to grow up in.

Comments: Just came in to say 'Hello'. I tried to enter info for 'Where you lived' & couldn't. Here's hoping you can add the Oake clan to the list. As a single parent, Dad moved his 4 kids (Bill, Christina, Brenda & I) into 9 Ubique Rd in 1970- 1979. Dad re-married Oct. 1971 & moved Dallen & her daughter Michelline from Wpg. They had Sherene in 72, Bonnie-Jean in 74 & Joaline in 76. My Mom, Kay stayed in Winnipeg, having Veronica in 1972. To this day I get asked "Are you one of the Oake girls?!?"

Comments: Just found this site via FB. Lived in Shilo with brothers Terry and Ray and my sister Tracy. My father was Sargeant Joe. My mother worked at McLeods in Brandon. Have shown my own boys around the base a few times. They like the tanks, of course!
