Always good to read about Camp Shilo. Times were probably just as tough, but from a child viewpoint, Shilo was very much like Mayberry on television.
My best friend in Shilo was Wayne Robertson, whose father was a Military Police officer. Does anyone know where they moved to?
This is a cool site, keep up the great work.

Earnest - the name sounds familiar. Did you live on the curve of the cresent. I think I used to deliver your family the newspaper before I was at the McCabe ranch all the time, then lifeguarded at the pool.
