I think the hardwood floor momento's are a great idea. I will start digging for old photos to add to the '70's album. We missed out on the '72 and '73 yearbooks, so this is a call for all of the old '70's crowd to knuckle down and send in your pictures. They will bring back great memories for everyone. If the '60's crowd can do it justice, I'm sure the '70's crowd can too. Merry Christmas everybody!!

There is a German tank parked across from the CANEX near the Canoe memorial and Gazebo right on Royal Ave. There was also one at the south (new) gate but when German military left, it was moved to Range Control. This fall it was started up and driven away by RCA Museum staff and I assume it resides now with the Museum vehicle collection.

Al is right. Initially there was a Sherman in Gunner Park that was later replaced by a Leopard A1 when the Germans moved in. I'm not complaining...I'm just wondering what happenened to that relic....shot up on the ranges for target practice? Near the front gate in the field next to the Sargeant's Mess was a very rare Sturmgeschutz Mk.IV in relatively good condition. What happenened to that? Across from the old Officer's Mess (now the museum)was a Jagdpanzer Mk. IV...another very rare vehicle. What happened to that? If we don't remember these things and bring them out...who replaces history?
