Good news re the BC mini reunion! Terry Burns, now in Chilliwack, phoned tonite to say he will be there with his wife. Terry doesn't operate a computer. Many of you will remember him. His dad was also a fireman. Terry and I went to Grade 1 together in Bldg A10 before PEPS was built. I lived in Q lines at the time in EMQ's. ( Dan Hall - it sounds like you did too.)

Sad news. For those of you that new Nancy Hawkins, she passed away this past friday, July 27 from complications of pneumonia. Her service is this thursday in Winnipeg...

I spent twelve years in Shilo. I left when I was 16 and moved to Brandon. My last year in Shilo was 1963. My dad was a firefighter and we lived in the EMQs at the far east end of the base. I can't remember too many of my classmates because I hung out with the neighbourhood kids more than anyone else. The most notable of whom was Greg Leskiew, who went on to become lead guitar for The Guess Who.

Hey Bill, those BC Shilobrats have been just ITCHING for a mini reunion; they just were polite enough to wait till Wayne and I hit town for Wayne's daughter's wedding!

Please respond this week to Faye's email re attendance. I need to advise the restaurant this week whether it's a go or not. A preliminary count is all I need. I don't need a hard commitment at this point, so a yes , no, or maybe will do for now.
