It was a real pleasure to see so many smiling faces at the BC Reunion. The prime rib was fantastic. Not a single complaint from anyone. And, yes, we will do it again. We have a volunteer to organize it and a venue too. Date to be determined....Nov 2008 has been suggested. Thanks again to those who contributed

Wow, the BC based Shilobrats shocked me (as treasurer for shilobrats.com) by taking up a collective donation totalling a whopping $250.00 at the August 31st BC brats mini reunion. That puts us in a great, no wait...fantastic, position for maintaining this large website for the next three years!!!! I love these BC brats

By looking at all the smiling faces in the pictures from the west coast mini reunion that Edie and Ken have posted, it appars everyone had a great time getting together. Dave,Laura,Judy and Faye and anyone else I missed that organized this west coast mini reunion deserve a heap of thanks for organizing it. From one organizer to another, great job all.
Speaking of reunions, we have had our second committee meeting for the 08 Shilo Brats Sixties Reunion. We are working hard to make this reunion a success, but of course we need you to make it a success. So, start making plans and booking holidays to BE THERE!!! I think a famous person said that about three years ago. Or was she infamus?

How is it that us EIGHTIES brats can't organize a reunion of our own? For the most part we all had a good time in Shlio and met many wonderful and long lasting friends! Great page here keep up the good work.

WOW!!! What a great party the west mini-reunion was. Seeing and talking with old friends and classmates again was a mind bender. Looking at the whole evening through my wife's eyes later made me realize just how important those days growing up in Shilo were to us. I and my wife would attend another mini-reunion and we are looking forward to 2008 full reunion. Congratulations to Faye, Judy, Dave, and all the organizers. You pulled it off beautifully, even though Faye was a little late. What the heck, her entrance was grand.
Keep in touch everyone. And if any of you are out my way, feel free to drop in. I'm in the phone book in Lake Cowichan.

I'm beginning to hear wonderful reports about the gathering on Friday evening! And some photos are coming in. If I can get enough, I'll add them to our existing REUNION PAGES. Please keep in mind, if you plan to send any my way, the original photo is best, NO CROPPING or DOWN-SIZING, it gives me more opitions to work with. I'll try to stay on top of things and keep my mail box cleaned out but let me know if you have problems. Thanks and happy to hear it was such a smashing success !!
