Hi Ken, I'm smiling again..I was just going to save the photos re: Bruce and Penny to send to her and I noted your quick response. Great to hear from you. You know, it does seem like I just made a visit home coming to this site and now I have had a visit from a friend...thanks for your message. Also, I meant to say I was in Shilo from the 'late' forties - so I think I may be closer to you in age than you think but that doesn't really matter. As we get older, the spaces in time dimenish between us, and we certainly do have a lot in common. This morning a name came to me from Alfriston - Geraldine Morton - who lived across from us in the back. She used to have a lot of 'parties' there in her basement and I could hear them laughing, the noise, music, etc. many a time. And I remember that new green car with the fin fenders her Father bought. What a car! We had that old Nash then and we used to say that it ran on vapours because the tank always said empty. Jerry Crowder lived there too. I loved to dance with him whenever I got a chance because he was such a good dancer and we seemed to pair up at a competition once which we won at the school dance. I thought I was going to be a dancer after that for sure - but, not to be, although I still love dancing and all types of music. Moves my soul!
