@carol: Since I can't post URL's, I will suggest you google "Toporama" which is the national topographic series database site. In the search field, put in "Wigle Springs", which is the "real" name of the feature. The road is actually called "Waggle Springs Road", however. You can get a topographic map of the area, right down to a scale of 1:25,000. Since you included your email address, I will email you the actual link to the map, as well, so you can just click on it.

Just to inform everyone that my father, Michael Trigg, passed away on Dec. 22, 2008 from brain cancer. He lived in Shilo from 1978 - 1983.

Hi, My husband and I were planning to visit Shilo the middle of August so we will miss the get together later in the month. You mentioned that Waggle Springs is closed off property now, but can someone tell me how to get the area as close as possible. My husband and I are really interested in trying to fish and explore the shore of my old picnic area.

I lived in Shilo in 1980-1984 then i went to Chilliwack, BC. I married and had two children, both of them born in brandon. So i grew up in shilo and and my children spent part of their life there. :cool:

IT'S OFFICIAL. ANOTHER SHILOBRAT HAS BOOKED A FLIGHT TO MANITOBA, AND WILL MAKE HER WAY TO CAMP SHILO ON AUGUST 27TH! Can't wait to walk through the old school halls!! Can't wait to see General Strange Hall. What fun it was there! Now tell me....how come I never made it to Waggle Springs??? Well, I'm going to get as close as I can this August, I can tell you that! Going to have dinner at the golf course, and breakfast at Crang's. Yeah baby!!! so...the question is....can you come too???

I was just looking at the pics in "The Sixties" section, and saw two shots of my old friend from childhood, Errol Bredin! He lived on Kingston Ave. during the 50's, but then I thought he moved away to somewhere west and south of Brandon (Souris?). Does anyone know Errol's whereabouts today?
