The 2005 Reunion Committee ..... Laura and Doug were late arriving !!
A group of active Shilobrats decided to hold a "60s based" reunion in the summer of 2005. Plans got started at the end of ‘03 with a series of online meetings about the meet and greet , accommodations, cost, registration, communication, 60s web site development, catering, golf tournament, museum visit, decorating, t-shirts, prizes, music, DJ, walking tours, and what seemed like 100 other things.
Committee members Faye Helgason, Edie Walker, Mike Pineau, Bill Brown, Otter, Doug Jordan, Lynn Davis, Judy Hummel, Laura Marsden and Doreen Gray (did I miss anyone?) made sure that the reunion of brats was an unforgettable success. One hundred and twenty five children of the 60s, and some of their teachers, came out to renew old friendships, and to take home some great memories. The Junior Ranks Club was a convenient location for most of the weekend's activities. Our generation likes to take pictures, and we have an abundance of shots to record the fun times we had; so much fun, another 60s reunion will take place in 08. ~ Faye (Helgason) Linseman
