reunion 2002

“I think this is the fourth reunion that Jim Has hosted.   I know he had help and if I ever find out who his accomplices were I will post them here too. Jim was always an instigator though, and because of his efforts a lot of people have memories of an extremely happy event that they will carry with them for the rest of their lives. It's an accomplishment you can take pride in Jim, for there is no gift greater to others that you can give that is more precious than fond memories.  We gathered together in the Country of Big Skies to share our youth and beginnings once more because of your hard work. We owe you and your staff a great debt. Can I pay that in clamshells?  My Visa is smoked out.
Jim has sworn off organizing any more reunions.  It really is a lot of work.  Maybe he will relent and maybe not, but if he means it in truth I hope there is someone already plotting another Shilo Reunion.  Certainly there will be other reunions across the country, but they will not have the same significance as returning to the place of your youth.”        ~  Otterkins (2002)

original photos of 2002 reunion (posted previously by Otter)
The "new" Sprucewoods Community Hall where it all began. Jim Davis (our faithful military nut case/mascot) and Joanne (Cheverie) Ross in front.

Larry Connors, Paddy Parsons,
Faith Power & Jim Gradwell
Faith DiRenzio (Powers) and Jim Gradwell.
Careful Faith, it's not safe to stand too close to Jim.
Luxurious and stunning accommodations. Our very own MASH unit for the event !
 Sheila, Faith and Zoe.
Bev Woods ( Whitechurch), Robin Agardy,
Laura (Lori) Marsden, Joanne Ross
 & Cathy Coughlin
Faith Power & Kelly Schrot
Mike Pineau and Lynn Davis. Lynn only dates classy guys which explains why there are no pictures of her and Otter together!!
Larry Connors, Glen McLean & Zoe. Had it not been for Zoe's constant encouragement I likely would not have made it to the reunion.
Laura and Rasunah Marsden.
Two very gifted writers.
JoAnn and Beverly. I recognized Bev in a heartbeat and she was gone just as fast. Stay longer next time Bev!
Faith (Power) with Vivian Sheppard.
Tooooo cute!
Doug Jordan, Sheila and Faith.
What smiles to be greeted with!
Judy (Hummel) Rioux and sister-in-law, Gloria (Johnson) Hummel. Still full of brightness and fun.
Pat and Ward McNeil. A fine shot of this great couple.
Pam Dent and Valerie Weisgerber. Both ladies have changed very little in appearance since high school and are still just as sweet.
Karen Middleton. This delightful lady saw fit to make a gift for Otter. It is a "PMQ Care Package" and now resides above my monitor.
This sorta looks like John Pineau,
but John has a beard.
Betty Ann & Gary Emery. From an earlier crowd than I come from and unfortunately time I didn't get to spend much time visiting with them.
Tammi and John Pineau. This is a great shot of two very beautiful people.
Some guys have all the luck. The Sirens of Shilo & Ches Sheppard ....geez! Shannon McGunnigal, Gwenn McCormick & Robin Agardy
Bob Findlay, Valerie McEdwards, Janet Hughes and Glen McLean. Glen was responsible for bringing you all the first few yearbooks along with Zoe's co-operation.
Carol Walker and Mike Pineau. Seems Carol only dates classy guys too. Where the hell is that Crazy Glue?
Robin Agardy, Larry Conners and Gwenn England (McCormick). This group was as thick as thieves for the duration of the reunion.
Murray Booth, a man of rare sensitivity and insight. Otter loves him a great deal. He is the stalwart Gimli from the "Lord of the Rings".
Anybody know this guy?
He wasn't at the reunion was he?
Theresa Poirier, Faith Powers & Rod McLeod.
Glen McLean and Carol Walker. Carol's sister Edith (who did not attend) was Bruce Howie's girlfriend for the longest time.
Judy with hubby Mel. Another wonderful couple! If Victoria wasn't so far from me I'd take you up on your offer guys.
Otter and Faye. I look a bit crispy but that's because she kissed my ear and it's still burning.
Bill & Maureen. Such a beautiful couple.
Bill Blake still has the same enthusiasm for life and is such a great guy!
Ches Sheppard and his wife Karen. He's as athletic an affable as he ever was. Karen is such a bubble of light.
