Well here I am again advising of another Shilobrats passing away. I received a call earlier today from Barb Clark, the younger sister of Brian Smith. Barb advises that Brian passed away this morning in hospital in Winnipeg. As everyone who attended the Shilobrats reunion in Winnipeg in August knows Brian was in failing health. It was heartening to see that Brian met up with many old friends from his Shilo days. I know that he had a great time. I, for one, will miss him very much.
There is no funeral planned at this time.

I received an email yesterday from Kathleen (McKenzie) Vaillancourt, a Shilobrat. She asked if I could advise Shilobrats that knew her brother, Ron Mckenzie, who attended PEHS from the mid to late 1960's, of his passing. Ron had been in failing health for the last year or so and passed away earlier this week in Calgary. Our thoughts go out to Ron's family.

Boyd is not available for a week or two and then we start planning for 2020 depending on the response we get. My brother thought 2018 was his last gig. I think I have talked him into a second "final" gig as Fabulous George in 2020. Of course we were in the Fort Garry at the time and we were into our cups.

Tim Spring. What a surprise! I have fond memories of time spent with your family members. I also remember when your brother Ken's untimely passing. My sister Bonnie Walsh & her hubby Joe were over for a visit this August and we talked about you's as they stay in toch with Bev & Val & hubbies. Many fond memories of the forest reserve & climbing the look-out tower.
