Comments: Just to echo what Lynn was saying:"a special thanks to all those involved in keeping this site going...a port hole to many of our pasts, which we are all grateful for." I too really appreciate all the work that goes into this site, and check it every day. Those were great times and it's nice to know that so many other ShiloBrats (love that term) think the same thing!
All the Best to Everyone for a Great Christmas.

Comments: Hi to Allen Russell & others; Allen .. I’m glad you enjoyed the Goldeyes Spl. Edition. It brought back a lot of memories for me too, and I hope for anyone else who was part of our swimming club then. I think you’re idea of a reunion with the Goldeyes is a great suggestion – maybe in 2014 – the 50th anniversary of our Provincial Title win! If any former Goldeyes are out there and are tuning in it would be great to hear from you.
Although Deb Jenkins and I provided the pictures for this gallery lineup, we really have to thank Lonnie Frankow, Ken Jenkins and Edie Mullen who devoted their time, creativity and technical expertise to create this showcase and post it on the site. They toil away anonymously on an ongoing basis to keep the site functioning, and fresh and interesting for everyone who visits, and it’s hard to thank them enough for all that they do.
May everyone enjoy memories of great Shilo Christmases past and best wishes to all for a wonderful and memorable 2011 !

Comments: Regarding my earlier request for info on Rick or Sylvia Moore. You can now disregard as I made contact with Rick. Thanks Dana.
Comments: I can see already how December is picking up speed and want to wish everyone the best in the New Year before I get caught up in it. Be safe and Cheers. Turk
Comments: Lynn Davis Thank you for all the work you put into the section on the Shilo GoldEyes. They were great years of swimming. My mind is a little foggy on the membership but your pictures brought back the faces vivid and clear. Had great pals Brian Allen, Wayne Coulson, Don Baker, Sheilagh Hunt. I am still in touch with Wayne. Would like to have another reunion soon and maybe some of the old swim team would show up.

Comments: Can anyone provide me with the whereabouts of Sylvia or Rick Moore? They were in Shilo in the 68-72 range. Sylvia would have been in grade 11 in 68/69 and grade 12 69/70, Rick would have been about 3 years younger. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks guys.

Comments: I was walking through the field in Front of O'Kelly school carrying my newspapers to deliver on Packway etc. when some kid came running by saying Kennedy had been shot. Needless to say I didn't deliver the papers over lunch and had to do them after school. I was 12.

Comments: Re Kennedy - we were living in Wembley, Middlesex, England at the time and it was about 7:30 Friday night when they made the announcement that Kennedy had been shot. The announcer came on about 2 minutes later to confirm that he had died. We were watching a show called Emergency Ward 10 at the time.
I was attending an American Forces High School that year and it was an emotional return to school the following Monday.
