I think a few photos on Royal Ave have disappeared from the site since the recent problem with the program. There used to be 2 shots of 103/105 Royal and now there is only one.

I went on Gallery to Royal, saw all the pictures, but did not see any of 93. It looked like it skipped from 89 up to 99 or 107.

I'd appreciate it if you could email the picture of 93 -- then I could show it to my brother.

I took a picture of 93 Royal...I'm sure it is still up as most of Royal is...
The picture is in the Shilobrats Gallery. I forget how to get there...go to a title like "PMQs" then go to the street name. keep clicking on the images until you get to 93. Good luck...If you can't...I'll send it to you.

Faye, we lived at 93 Royal Avenue I believe.
I have been looking for any pictures of it, to see if it is still standing, and haven't been able to find any.

I've noted that a lot of the original PMQ houses are being or have been torn down. Could someone provide me with some information regarding this? I have been told by other sources that asbestos had been found in these units that are being demolished. Is this accurate?
I am also very interested in finding out if any previous Shilo residents have been diagnosed with mesothelioma?
In addition, if anyone has any info as to whether any houses on Royal Avenue have been torn down, I would appreciate this also.

found this site by chance.I lived in shilo about 3to 4 years leaving 1960 .I lived on kingston.On track team and took piano lessons while living there.My brother Doug born in brandon during that time.My sister Verna and I both married someone from military we had met in shilo.My sister went to germany and killed in car accident 1965.I became registerd nurse in wpg.Later on furthered studies in music and now teach piano.I have 3 children and 3 grandchildren.Gordon whom I had married now deceased.Would love to hear from anyone .The years in shilo shaped my future
