Comments: Bill, while the old school may have awakened you in your hour of need, there are some of us who can claim it had the opposite effect, I know I slept through many of my math and chemistry classes.

Comments: It is so sad to see PEHS torn down. Putting aside the Educational Aspects of it, it has lots of fond memories for us all in our teens living in Shilo. The only thing about Shilo that would come close to matching it in memory was the Dances @ the YPA Hall, the old one in particular. The old school saved my life one night in -50 temp when I was walking home from visiting a lady friend. I got up against the school to get out of the wind. I actually was so cold I started to fall asleep, but I believe the old school woke me up and I got the rest or the way home

Comments: I'm trying to visualize a Shilo without PEHS.
Even though the old school hadn't really been functional in the traditional sense for some time..it's still emotional to think of the memories that went with the materials in some trucks to a landfill site !!
Comments: The asbestos list does not show Royal as having any duplexes demolished. Does that mean there were no homes on Royal with asbestos. How would I find if 105 had asbestos?.

Comments: So sad to see PEHS being torn down. I went to kindergarten and grade one there the first time I was in Shilo, and then grades 8, 9 and 10 the second time around. I'm sure glad I stopped by a couple of years ago and peered in the window of my old kindergarten/grade 8 Science classroom. Even the clock on the wall above the door was still the same (and still going).
