Comments: Hi Tim, I was out there 3 weeks ago, and did the Highway 340 bridge crossing (looking for some familiar landscape from the old Treesbank ferry days, it's been over 30 years since I've been on that road). I wish I had known you wanted some pictures, as I had my camera with me. The floading was unbelievable, and I gather it got worse after I left.
Blake, sorry we didn't get together for that wobbly pop at the Shilo golf course, with all that snow and iced up highways I had to change my plans. Next time for sure!
Comments: You are one of the few from back in the 50s that we may have crossed paths. But as you say we were younger than the teen agers then and Waggle Springs was not in on our agenda. I left Shilo in summer of '57, after grade 5 and aan almost brand new 11 year old . My younger brother was 2 years behind me.

Comments: Well! The last few months have been very strange: aging parents, children who need visiting, and various and sundry other things that have taken up time. BUT the most irritating thing was the complete CRASH of my computer system. So, it's been several months since I've visited Shilobrats.com.
With any luck (in the words of the Great Terminator), "I'll be BACK!"
Hello, and God bless to all Shilo Brats that came before and after me. And, will someone tell me: when did this Waggle Springs venue get started? I lived in Shilo from '54 to '59, and I never heard one whisper of Waggle Springs. Or was this always a well-kept secret of Shilo teenagers? (Remember, I was only in Shilo from Grades 2-6!)

Comments: Anybody got any recent/current pics of Waggle Springs and or the Hwy 340 or Spruce Woods river crossings?
Comments: I lived in Shilo until 1957. My mother's name was Peggy and my father's name was Leonard. He was a Bombadier I believe. We lived on 19 Sennybridge. Both of my parent's are deceased. I have many fond memories of growing up and going to school there.
