First thing I did this morning on my computer was check out the Guestpage at Shilobrats. :D Second thing I did was check out "I've got that Parki feeling", Doug Jordan's new blogspot. Third thing I did was sign up to follow him on this new chapter of his LIFE. Doug gets my vote !! :!clap: :!clap:

I was only in Shilo a short time. Dad was stationed there for a project with Drone Troop. He was Air Force and I thought it was wierd that we were on an Army base. We were there 1968 - 1970 and I attended grades 5 and 6. I think we lived at 42 Esquimalt but now I am not sure. I thought it was funny that we were posted to CFB Greenwood after we had been in Greenwood school. I remember railway tracks, grain silos, mosquito fogging machines trying to poison us in the middle of the night, the setting sun on a summer night looking like it could swallow up the earth, winters like no other I have experienced and I left my tonsils behind in Brandon hospital.
