I just read Bill Blake's post & was very touched, thank-you for sharing your story.
I check the Shilo Brats from time to time & love reading the comments. I hope to see many of you at the reunion in August.

I read a comment on MySpace the other day I thought was cute.

"If you're not willing to stand behind our troops, you're quite welcome to stand in front of them."

Cheers, Jinks

I want to extend a special thank you to our resident Wizard-Edie for the latest scans of the old Shilo Stag. Seeing those images of my Dad and all those other good folks who were a part of our youth really brings on the warm fuzzies! Thanks, Edie!

Edie has given us more memories from the Shilo Stag in the early sixties. Send her your pictures from the 60's or current - she needs them if you want the newsletter to continue.

See the 60's page.

My father Bdr. Ed Flamand,RCA, WW2 veteran, died Jan.1988 at the age of 69yrs. Served in Italy and France and like so many others took his difficult memories with him to the grave. Two uncles also were in the army during WW2, Eugene Flamand and Charles Neimor.
I also have a daughter Heidi, who at the age of fourteen joined air cadets in order to honour the memory of her grandfather.
We shall remember them. Ron

I have heard comments from a few brats that they would like to see new pictures on the site. If you want new pictures on the site you brats are going to have to send them in. If you send pictures to Edie she will see they get on the site. Many of you must have pictures in your possesion please share them with us.
