Comments: Geez, Greg..you're right I forgot about that! I'll just have to get some blocks made up to fit the rudders-the brakes are gonna be tricky, too.
Bruce Howie says that he's gonna get his own jet for Christmas and he & I are gonna fly around the world...but I reminded him that we have to land before dark or our mums will give us heck!
Maybe we can get a big RC one & you can do the flying while Bruce & I play snakes & ladders???
Comments: Bill - If you were six - you couldn't reach the rudder pedals - not that real pilots need the rudder for much anyway - OK maybe for crosswind landings and the odd knife edge - but that's it !!!

Comments: Hey Bill, the air must get pretty thin up there where you're flying, hope you can report on Santa's progress this Christmas eve. I remember I still believed in Santa when I was 6, but I also remember...
When I was 6, I wished I was 12, When I was 12, I wished I was 18, When I was 18, I wished I was 24, When I was 30, I wished I was 24, I haven,t stopped being 24, I never did like being 6.
ok, maybe for Christmas.
Merry Christmas to all Shilobrats and your families. I think of you all as my extended family.
May all your Christmas wishes, hopes and dreams become reality, and if you come across a 6 year old boy named Bill...run like hell!

Comments: For Bill Gillespie - That was a very heartwarming post on the website and Soooo true!
I am an army brat (now 54 yr) and lived in Shilo 3 different times. I see you live in Airdrie, AB. My daughter and family (3 grandchildren = 9 yrs/2yrs/4yrs (she will be 5 tomorrow and my daughter who will be 36 yrs Dec 24)relocated to Cold Lake, AB in April 2006 from London, ON. I used to drive from Callander, which is in Northeastern Ontario near North Bay every 3 months (a 6 hour drive) so this will be my first year without spending Christmas with them. I too wish I was 6 yrs old and it is obvious why!
