Comments: Sad to hear about Ron Binkley. The photos of Ron on Shilobrat Facebook with the tennis racket reminded me of the time when I was in grade 11 in 1968-68 and our gym teacher Pat Letain brought Ron in to show us the fundamentals of the game of tennis. If patience is a virtue Ron definitley had it as he attempted to show us how to hold a racket and hit a ball at the same time. We were hopeless.

Comments: It's a very sad time. Our Shilobrat friend, Ron Binkley, passed away on Saturday, March 16th. Born in 1948, he was way too young to be taken by lung cancer, but he will live on in the hearts of all shilobrats who were lucky enough to know him. The obituary is expected to be posted in the Vancouver Sun, but I will post it to our "Obits of Shilobrats" page on Facebook asap. Rest in Peace Ron.

Comments: Wow! I should come here more often. It's been so long I have trouble putting faces to the names. I remember very well, Errol Bredin and I devised a new religion in grade 10 ( Bohonis )called Bredinism. We would live on a commune and raise geese. Any girl that wanted to join got a -goose-. We purposely screwed up our history exams for Bohonis. Errol put down: 1492 Colombus invented the beer can/ 1776 Gearge Washington FINALLY invebted the beer can opener and the world had a great party. Needless to say I flunked history that year. Any one who remembers me can just email me. I'd love to hear from you.

Comments: Our condolences go out to Mike's family and friends. We heard from Brandon, he left a lot of good memories with a lot of people.
Reg: I THINK I am still alive. I was a couple of years behind you so you probably don't remember me from Picton and later Shilo - where I also came 2 years after you.

Comments: I spent the late 50's early 60's in Shilo, before my father was transfered to Ottawa. It was in Ottawa that I went to Rideau High School after which I found employment in the Banking industry. It was also were I met my husband. We will be celebrating our 43 anniversary this August.
