This yearbook is brought to you through the fine efforts of Debbie Cross (nee Coughlin) and her husband. They did a wonderful job of scanning, and although Deb didn't know how to when she first started she certainly does now! Debbie always had a ready smile handy for everyone she met.
This yearbook is of particular interest to me as this would have been my graduating class had I stayed in Shilo. It brought a lot of joy to see these faces long misted by the past. It also brought sadness, for one of the yearbook staff thought it was perfectly acceptable to belittle the efforts of the yearbook staff from previous years without any knowledge or understanding of the circumstances these people had to work under. This yearbook is neither better nor worse than any of its predecessors, but its shine is certainly tarnished by these comments. It no longer matters if the author feels regret for these poorly conceived and ill advised statements. You can no longer recant them as they are recorded for posterity both here and in the books that your classmates hold in their hands. That is your legacy to Shilo.
