Reunion 1983
It hardly seems possible that it’s been 24 years since the very first reunion in 1983 and that having been followed by four more fabulous reunions !! Where has the time gone, for it seems like only yesterday ..... so with that in mind, we’ve made an attempt to better organize these wonderful memories with the addition of some new photos. I am grateful to Kay (Schrot) Mowbry, Paddy Parsons and Faye (Helgason) Linseman who contributed to the ‘who, when, where & how’ of it all. And for all of us who have travelled the distance, and had the privilege to dance to the music, laugh, hug and cry together again in Shilo, we are forever indebted to the late Carol Walker and Jim Gradwell !!

“Where did it all begin ? Yes, Jim, Carol and myself were among the originators. We held meetings at the old Country Club; that is where the meals and dance were held. I know Sheila Rowland and Jim Stewart, and I think Ken Wells were also on the committee. We were also allowed access to the PEPS gym. The whole thing was your sister's idea !!! Yes, Carol's !!. Then Jim and Ken came on board and helped get things rolling. I donated a painting to give away as a door prize and Sheila donated a Paper Tole picture. We had buttons made up and a poster board of old pics of as many grads as we could get. But I would say, without a doubt, that she was the original spearhead of our first reunion. The rest of us just helped it happen. I've talked to some gal friends that say their hearts almost burst remembering the good times. Shilo was a great place to go to school!
