Comments: After signing the Guestbook, I decided to walk down memory lane, as I’ve poked through different articles. What a surprise to see our house at 9 Sapper Avenue featured by the Shilo Stag as the Home page of our website. Many more memories flowing after seeing that!

Comments: Mel & I want to take the time to wish all our 50’s and 60’s Brats a very Merry Christmas and all the best in 2021. 2020 has been a year we’d all like to pass on, and we, particularly will miss Clancy Robinson and Bill Blake. Thank goodness for our wonderful high school memories! Shilo holds a dear place in our hearts, and always will. Please stay safe, and may 2021 be a beacon of light!
this isn't very fair my mind is quite bare that's a problem because I can't write I'm a poet who is writeless and also quite sightless the result is I'm feeling contrite
I avoid the condition that leads to contrition the backwash from talent's regime and on that very note there is something I wrote so I turn to an earlier theme
it's nothing erstz they are called "Shilobrats" I can call each member by name I can ask for assistance And meet no resistance And offer to them much of the same
Each one has potential for becoming essential In time and place that remain It's a sweet dream of mine that I'll wake up and find I get to see them again
Now that was no chore I could have written some more But I'd have to begin with begat there is much I could say but let's leave it this way I am proud to be Shilobrat
Just a sample from my book of poetry due in the spring.

Comments: Nice to see the pic of the well-decorated PMQ on the homepage. It's gratifying to know that those PMQs that were familiar to us kids are still providing comfortable homes to the families stationed there.
I remember that there was a large spruce tree in our yard at #2 Sapper at the corner of Sapper and Royal that my Dad would decorate with lots of lights.
Also nice to see CFB Shilo in the CBC news today, regarding a Gift Drive underway in support of a First Nation community in northern Manitoba struggling under the pandemic.
Comments: Every December there is a yard decorating contest for Christmas in the Shilo PMQ's. This year's winner, featured on the home page is #9 Sapper Avenue (photo from Shilo STAG)
Christmas Spirit is alive and well in Shilo. What do you remember about Christmas in Shilo...
