Remembering Danny Klein 1958 - 2012 PEHS Grad 1977

KLEIN: It is with great sadness the family of Steven Daniel "Danny" Klein announce his passing on Friday, January 27, 2012 in Brandon. Danny was born on October 16, 1958 in Gander, Newfoundland. During his younger years Danny received his education in various locations that the family moved to including: Downsview, Ontario; Alsask and Dana, Saskatchewan; Cornwallis, Nova Scotia and Shilo, Manitoba.

Hi, just found the site. I was a gunner with "G"bty 3 RCHA from 1980 to 1983. and lived in L101. sure brings back the good old days looking at the camp photo.

Edie just posted a new album on the Facebook page:

I was inspired recently by posts in the Guestbook on the ShiloBrats web site by Jill Dyble, Dennis Cole and Rodney Dafoe. We were all together in Grade 8. So I went in search of my copy of the little year book we 'published' in our class in 1962. The book included the end of the year class-standing, our victories at the Track & Field meet, scores from a bowling party, a few pages of Class Prophesy, some poetry written by classmates and these photos. Perhaps it'll inspire a few good memories...Edie

In fact, just put "HALIFAX CUISINE" in the search box on Youtube and see all we have to offer 'fresh out of the bay' over on Canada's beautiful East coast !! ;)

Hey Doug, I guess there's no chance that you and Ken can wait till August to make your trek to the Maritimes? There's a group heading there beginning of August...headed by Bill Brown; I hope I am going too (if I don't end up in Iceland with my bro Wayne and daughter Taylor). :)
