a little PEHS - little piece of PEHS

In 2011, ShiloBrats website was notified that the PEHS school building would be demolished. A question arose "is there any part of the school building that could be saved and made into mementos for those who wanted one." CFB Shilo administration was approached with the idea and were keen to help. Two of the members in charge of the demolition were Shilobrats Blake Mooney and Larry Weisgerber. They arranged for the original hardwood floor from the stage in the gymnasium to be removed and cut down to 2" x 4" pieces and branded with PEHS for authenticity. The pieces were then divided among ShiloBrats web team for distribution. There were around 400 pieces mostly given out at Shilobrat mini-reunions over a 6 year period. The final distribution was in Shilo at the Reunion 2018 Junior Ranks lunch event.

What should I do with my "little PEHS" if I have one? Well, don't just throw it in a drawer, display it in a meaningful way to you.
